What do you wear?

You’re so excited, you have your session booked for your indoor or outdoor photography session. If you haven’t had photos taken in the past, this must be very new for you. Even slightly overwhelming. You not only have to organise yourself, but your partner, children and maybe family pet too! But don’t worry, Dreamy Moon Photography has you covered and has put together a full guide on what to wear to your next photography session.  Tweed NSW Newborn Photographer | What to wear to your session

Family:

I’m starting off with the largest to organise and that is your family session clothing guide. The key here is to coordinate your colour pallet rather than being matchy, matchy. Pick a few tones that collaborate nicely and base your outfit around them. I will post a few example below of exactly what I’m talking about. Never underestimate the power of textures! Textures make for great visual appeal in your photos and when added in subtly, it can make the world of a difference.

What to avoid!

We want your photos to be timeless and of course this is just our suggestion that you can take with a grain of salt….But this is a few things we tell our clients to avoid wearing.

No logos, logos are distracting and can outdated become outdated quite quickly.

Avoid harsh patterns, this can sometimes be unflattering.

Now this is just our preference but avoid bold, bright colours.

Okay now that we’ve gotten that out of the way let’s move onto the babies!

You probably know by now that our main niche of photography are babies. Which is why we have a full client wardrobe to have you covered. But the same rules as above pretty much apply to our littlest humans too.
